Bet Brokers Explained: Start Betting Through One Account
The short answer
A bet broker is a service that gives you one account for betting at many bookmakers and betting exchanges, such as Pinnacle and Betfair Exchange. You fund the broker, and its platform places your bets at those operators, which are built for large stakes. We cover four of them: AsianConnect, BetInAsia, MadMarket and Sportmarket. This page shows how a broker differs from a bookmaker and an exchange, then sends you to the guide that fits your situation: a first broker, a limited account, identity checks, crypto or one particular bookmaker.
Why bettors use a bet broker
A high street bookmaker lives on the margin built into every price, and it protects that margin: win steadily and it trims your stake, withdraws the offers or closes the account, whatever the quality of your bets. Asian bookmakers and betting exchanges live on volume and thin margins instead, so they take large stakes, and a broker is the one account that leads to them (Pinnacle and Betfair Exchange are the two names to know).
A limit is a business decision, not a verdict.
Sharper prices and bigger stakes are the draw. The convenience is what keeps you there. We would take one account and one balance over a separate login at every operator, every time. One login. One balance. The betting is hard enough without the admin.
Who does what: broker, bookmaker, exchange
Three terms. Three jobs. The table sets them apart, with the names you will meet on this site.
| Term | What it does | Examples on this site |
|---|---|---|
| Bookmaker | Quotes the price and stands on the other side of your bet. | Pinnacle and Sbobet; see what Asian bookmakers are. |
| Exchange | Matches your bet with another bettor's, one side backing and the other laying. | Betfair Exchange, Orbit Exchange and Sharp Exchange; see how a betting exchange works. |
| Broker | Keeps your balance and sends your bets to the bookmakers and exchanges it connects. | AsianConnect, BetInAsia, MadMarket and Sportmarket. |
The exchange is the odd one out, because its price comes from other bettors and not from a trader. Through a broker, exchange prices and bookmaker prices come from the same account. You do not register with Pinnacle; you register with a broker and reach Pinnacle through it.
Find the guide that fits
Six questions. Six pages. Find the line below that sounds like you.
Do not read all of it. Read one page.
I am new to brokers
Start with what is a betting broker. It follows a bet from registration to withdrawal in five steps, then covers identity checks, payments, platforms and how to choose. We would read it before any of the four broker pages.
Better prices
Best odds shows how to compare the margin inside a price instead of the biggest number on the screen, because the margin is what a bet costs you before the first whistle. For the places where prices are fairest, sharp bookmakers and exchanges, read betting at sharp bookmakers.
A limited account
A regular bookmaker can cut the stakes, withdraw the offers or close the account of a customer who wins steadily. Why a bookmaker limits winning accounts explains how it happens and sets out the three lasting routes: exchanges, sharp bookmakers and brokers. Every operator caps something, and where the maximum stake appears at each broker shows who sets the cap and where each platform displays it.
Identity checks and crypto
Each of the four reserves the right to ask for a photo ID and proof of address at any time, and what identity checks involve at brokers goes through who asks for what. Get both documents ready before your first deposit. All four also accept crypto, with Bitcoin and USDT on the deposit list at every one, and which brokers take crypto sets the coins and networks side by side.
A particular bookmaker or exchange
Pinnacle, Betfair Exchange and Orbit Exchange open at all four brokers, each under the name of the broker's own platform. Sbobet opens at BetInAsia, MadMarket and Sportmarket. Choose yours: Pinnacle through a broker, how to reach Betfair Exchange, open a Sbobet account or Orbit Exchange routes. For every operator in one grid, see bookmakers and exchanges by broker.
A method or a market
Betting strategies is the contents page for the methods. If you wonder what happens when two operators disagree on one match, how arbitrage works at a broker works an example in decimal odds; if you want your staking and records tidy over many bets, stakes, records and the price you take covers the habits and quotes no returns. Asian handicap betting takes the market line by line.
If none of these fits, every page in one list sorts out the whole site.
The four brokers we cover
Each broker has a page of its own, with its platforms, how to open the account and the ways to pay.
- AsianConnect: one balance shared by four platforms, Piwi247, PS3838, Asianodds88 and OrbitX.
- BetInAsia: a BIA Wallet behind a single profile, with BLACK, Sharp Exchange and PS3838 as the accounts you open from it.
- MadMarket: one login and one MadMarket Wallet, funding Edge, Probet42 and Sharp Exchange.
- Sportmarket: a Main Account for the money and a Betting Account on the Sportmarket Betting Platform for the bets.
What they share is the core grid, Pinnacle, Betfair Exchange and Orbit Exchange at each of the four. What sets them apart is the platform behind it, the payment methods that sit beside crypto and the extras that come with each platform, and choosing between the four brokers puts them side by side. Our advice is to pick the one whose platform you would happily open every day, since that is where you will spend your time. How we work is on the about page.
The law, your age and the countries brokers accept
Law first. Broker second. Your own country's law settles whether betting online is open to you at all, so use a broker only where it is.
The broker cannot change that.
Every broker also turns away some countries on its own account, which is why a registration can be declined even where betting is legal. BetInAsia and Sportmarket have a page each: the countries BetInAsia does not accept and the countries Sportmarket does not accept. You hold one account per person at each broker, and betting is for adults, 18 and over.

Questions people ask
What is a bet broker?
A bet broker is the middleman you register and deposit with. Its platform sends your bets to the bookmakers and exchanges it connects, so one login covers what would otherwise be one account per operator. Bet broker and betting broker are two names for the same thing.
Which bet brokers does this site cover?
Four: AsianConnect, BetInAsia, MadMarket and Sportmarket, always in that order, and the order is not a ranking. Each has a page of its own, and all four open Pinnacle, Betfair Exchange and Orbit Exchange, each under its own platform name. The comparison of the four brokers sets them side by side.
How do I start with a bet broker?
Pick the bookmaker or exchange you want, then the broker that reaches it. Register on the broker's own site, fund its wallet, open the platform account inside it where the broker asks for one, and place the bet from there. Each broker's page has the exact steps.
What do I need to open an account?
Personal details to register (name and email at the least), a way to pay in and, if the broker asks, a photo ID plus a recent proof of address. Any of the four can ask at any moment, and each allows one account per person. Documents ready. Passport, plus a bill or bank statement. See what each broker asks for.
Are bet brokers legal?
Whether online betting is allowed is a question for the law of the country you live in, and a broker cannot change the answer. Use one only where betting online is open to you. Each broker also excludes some countries of its own, so a registration can be turned down even where betting is legal. Betting is for adults, 18 and over.
How do I take money out of a bet broker?
You withdraw from the broker, not from the bookmaker. At AsianConnect the balance is one shared wallet, so there is nothing to move back, and withdrawals run through its member area, the AMS. At BetInAsia, MadMarket and Sportmarket you first move the money from the platform account to the broker's wallet (the Main Account at Sportmarket), then request the withdrawal there.
